2024 Ducati Multistrada V2 S Gets Black and Grey Paint

As the slightly more refined and upgraded version of the Italian all-rounder, the 2024 Ducati Multistrada V2 S gets black and grey paint for the new model year, as an alternative to red.

Powered by the same 937cc Testastretta twin-cylinder engine, the S model adds semi-active suspension, a quickshifter, cornering lights for the front LEDs and a TST dash rather than the standard LCD. And you also now get Cruise Control, along with the full electronics package of ABS, Vehicle Hold Control (VHC), traction conrol and the Ducati Brake Light System which automatically activates your rear light if you suddenly slow.

And now you can choose your new Multistrada in Ducati Red, or the new ‘Thrilling Black and Street Grey’ which arrives in UK dealers from July 2023.

The 2024 Ducati Panigale V2 Is Now Available In Black

It’s not exactly a stealth option, but the 2024 Ducati Panigale V2 is now available in black, if you fancy an alternative to classic red.

The 955cc Superquadro twin-cylinder super sports bike was introduced in 2020, offering 155hp and 104Nm of torque at 9,000rpm. Underneath the new Black on Black Livery and graphics, the bike is pretty much unchanged from last year, with the same electronics package including ABS, traction control, wheel control, quick shifting and engine braking, monocoque frame, single-sided aluminium swingarm, and the two large air ducts under the LED front headlight.

If you do choose a new Panigale V2 in the Black on Black livery, there are still some Ducati Red details, with the graphics on the tank, fairing and wheels. But it does look pretty good in the darker colour, including the revised seat.

Previously, the second colour option for the Panigale was White Rosso, introduced soon after the bike originally launched. And if you own a current model, there’s a voluntary safety recall in the United States via Ducati North America at the moment due to a software issue causing the headlight to change from low beam to daylight running mode automatically, which can be fixed with a quick update. This impacts 2020-2023 model years, but has now been fixed for any new bikes.

Ducati Keep Michele Pirro As A Test Rider Until 2027

One of the longest rider and team relationships in MotoGP will continue as Ducati keep Michele Pirro as a test rider until 2027.

The 36-year-old from San Giovanni Rotondo in Italy first joined the manufacturer in 2013, developing the Desmosedici GP for 11 years so far alongside with competing in races as a wildcard rider. He’s also a multiple Italian champion in the superbike and superstock classes, and has also been involved in developing the new Ducati MotoE machine.

Michele Pirro (#51, Ducati MotoGP Test Team): “Most of my sporting career has been with Ducati, and I can’t imagine myself in any other colour than the red of the Borgo Panigale manufacturer. I arrived here in 2013, probably during the most difficult years for Ducati Corse, but now I am also experiencing the best ones for the company. I am very proud of what we have done together. I have worked closely with the new generation of Italian riders and always learn something new from them. As always, I will work hard to continue contributing to developing the Desmosedici GP and the Panigale V4. I thank Claudio, Gigi, Paolo and Davide, and all the people who believe in me. Forza Ducati always!”

2024 Ducati Monsters Now Available In Iceberg White

There’s a new paint choice available for the Italian naked sports bike, with the 2024 Ducati Monsters now available in Iceberg White. It’s available for both the Monster and Plus version, with a contrasting Ducati Red seat unit.

2024 Ducati Monsters Now Available In Iceberg White2024 Ducati SuperSport 950 S featured yesterday. The new white paint option joins the existing Aviator Grey and traditional Ducati Red choices.

Again, like the SuperSport, there’s no significant mechanical or design changes for this model year, with the last major revision in 2021, with the introduction of the 111hp 937cc Testastretta engine, an aluminium front game, and the tail end of the bike mounted to the motor, which means it dropped 18kg on the previous generation of the Monster.

The seat height remains 820mm, with the narrow width and sides meaning it’s manageable for those of us with shorter legs. But you can also get a low seat as an accessory to drop it down to 800mm, or add a low suspension kit as well, dropping the seat height down to 775mm (30.5 inches). Plus there’s a 35kW version for A2 license holders, until you can earn your way to full powered motorcycling.

But you also get launch control, which is useful if you plan on competing in MotoGP, or really want to make sure you get away from the lights quickly during your commute to work.

Three riding modes are available, with Sport, Touring and Urban. And as usual, you get a big range of Ducai Performance options for customising your bike further, including Termignoni exhausts, crash protectors and more.
