Audi Sport’s new Competition Package for the 2023 Audi RS 5 Coupe and Sportback will cost you $16,100.

Customers in the United States can now buy more extreme versions of the 2023 Audi RS 5. The automaker’s new competition package for the RS 5 Coupe and RS 5 Sportback recently made its world debut. For the 2023 model year in the US, Audi Sport offers both technical and visual improvements exclusive to these two models.

Buyers can opt for the Competition package from the Ingolstadt automaker’s performance division for just $16,100. We expect the company to start accepting orders starting next month. Prices for the Audi RS 5 Coupe start at $75,900, whereas the Sportback version gets an MSRP of $76,200. Audi Sport now offers the models within a new sports exhaust system on the performance front.

In addition to lesser insulation between the cabin and the engine bay, the new exhaust also flaunts matte black tailpipes. The exhaust also reduces the overall weight by 18 lbs and delivers a more aggressive exhaust note. With the new package, the 2023 RS 5 coupe can hit the 60 MPH mark from a complete standstill in 3.7 seconds.

2023 Audi RS 5 Coupe and Sportback can achieve a top speed of 180 MPH with the new competition package.

The Sportback variant with its 444 HP bi-turbo V6 powerplant can make the same run in 3.8 seconds in the same configuration. In the dynamic driving mode, the fine-tuning of the engine control software allows it to make tighter load changes with the S transmission mode. The new RS twins also sit much closer to the track as the company has reduced the ground clearance by 10 mm over stock models.

Furthermore, the driver can also manually reduce the ride height by an additional 10 mm. The cars ride on a coilover suspension setup with a front sway bar. The vehicles come complete with sharper steering, and the quattro sport rear differential also gets enhancements. According to the company, the RS ceramic front brakes reduce the stopping distance of the new RS models by 6.5 feet (from 62 MPH). For this reason, Audi Sport also made enhancements to the ABS and the transmission control unit.

OCT Tuning unveils its 800 HP Audi RS Q8 O.CT 800

RS Q8 O.CT 800

German outfit OCT Tuning unveiled the Audi RS Q8 O.CT 800, equipped with OCT Tuning’s new Stage 3 Power Enhancement.

Ever since its introduction, tuners have been designing packages to push the performance of Audi RS Q8’s motor to its absolute limit. The unspoken goal has always been to achieve performance similar to Lamborghini Urus. In October 2020, we discussed Kempten-based ABT Sportsline’s high octane version of the Audi RS Q8. More recently, Sant’Agata-based company OCT Tuning unveiled the RS Q8 O.CT 800 and three new performance tuning levels for Audi’s sporty SUV.

This murdered-out super-luxurious SUV is called Audi RS Q8 O.CT 800. Besides its menacing paint job, this particular offering is visually identical to the standard SUV. However, the car ditches its factory rims in favor of 23-inch aluminum forged alloys which are almost 17.6 lbs or 8 kg (per piece) lighter than the stock RS Q8 wheels.

In its most capable spec, the Stage 3 Power Enhancement package increases the power of the SUV to 802 HP and 760 lb-ft of torque. Under the hood of OCT Tuning’s Audi RS Q8 O.CT 800, we find the same 4-liter twin-turbo V8 that produces 591 HP in the standard model.

As a result, to achieve the SUV’s impressive performance figures, the tuning company installed a turbo-back exhaust and modified intake manifold, which comes complete with new filters and pipes.

Lastly, an ECU flash unlocks a substantial chunk of the powerplant’s performance. Customers can also opt for the Stage 1 Power enhancement, and the company will increase the power output of the Audi RS Q8 to 690 HP and 664 lb-ft with the help of software optimization alone.

Finally, a Stage 2 Power enhancement is also available, including the ECU and intake manifold upgrade. So far, we do not have any information regarding the pricing of OCT Tuning’s performance upgrades. However, the company is already accepting orders for its new tuning packages.

The new set of alloys also gives OCT Tuning’s Audi RS Q8 O.CT 800 its eye-catching stance. Furthermore, the red brake calipers with Audi branding offer a striking contrast to the otherwise dark color scheme. Continental SportContact 6 295/35 ZR23 XL tires envelop the 11-inch wide lightweight wheels.

ABT Power Performance Upgrade Gives Audi RS 3 Supercar-like Acceleration

ABT Power Performance Upgrade
With ABT Sportsline’s new ECU update, the Audi RS 3 Sportback boasts 454hp and can accelerate from 0 to 62 MPH in just 3.6 seconds.

ABT Sportsline is responsible for bringing us many high-performance Audi models. The prolific Audi tuner has been on a hiatus for a while. In October 2020, the Kempten Kempten-based tuning company unveiled a high octane version of Audi’s RS Q8 SUV capable of taking on the likes of Lamborghini Urus. ABT Sportsline is back with an exciting reproduction of the Audi RS 3 Sportback. This one comes complete with the ABT Power performance upgrade.

With ABT’s latest performance package, the Audi RS 3 can shame even the most thoroughbred Italian supercars. A new Engine Control Unit update helps ABT Sportline increase the power output of the RS 3 to 454 HP. This is a significant increase over the 394 HP power output of the turbocharged 2.5-liter five-cylinder motor that propels the standard RS 3.

The engine hooks up to a 7-speed automatic transmission. The dual-clutch gearbox sends power to all four corners via Audi’s proprietary quattro all-wheel-drive system. The ABT Power performance upgrade also helps this RS 3 hit the 62 MPH mark from a complete standstill in just 3.6 seconds which is 0.2 seconds faster than the standard car.

So far, we do not have any information regarding the ABT Power performance upgrade’s pricing.

As a result, ABT Sportsline’s RS 3 Sportback can make the 0to 62 MPH run 0.5 seconds faster than the legendary Ferrari Enzo supercar. The German tuning company also offers customers the opportunity to join the exclusive “Club 300”. Therefore, ABT Sportsline will increase the top speed of the RS 3 Sportback to 186 MPH (300 kph) on request. In addition to the increase in power, the car here also gets new entrance lights.

ABT Sportsline’s Managing Partner Hans-Jürgen Abt shared his thoughts on the tuner’s new package. “The software has been specially adapted to the vehicle by our experienced team and tested on the road and on the test bench in countless hours of work,” explains Hans-Jürgen Abt. He further adds, “A comprehensive package of engine protection measures and warranty services ensures driving pleasure without remorse.”
