The Italian manufacturer celebrates one of the most important models to come out of the Bologna factory, with the limited edition Ducati Monster 30° Anniversario revealed for a production run of 500 bikes.
current sales second only to the Multistrada models in the current Ducati range.
The limited edition Ducati Monster 30° Anniversario continues a long tradition of special models, but stands out with both the tricolour livery, and as the lightest example every produced. The Made in Italy 30th Anniversary livery is complimented by exclusive gold rim wheels, an embroidered logo on the seat, and a special dashboard animation. Plus the name and number plate on the upper clamp.

But the beauty isn’t just skin deep, as despite gaining upgrades including a steering damper and windshield, the 30° Anniversario weighs 4kg less than a standard model, at 184kg. This includes the Ohlins NIX30 forks, which are 0.6kg lighter than the option on normal Monsters, and is fully adjustable with an increased ground clearance helping the sportier set-up.

Along with the adjustable Ohlins suspension and steering damper, you also get Brembo Stylema front calipers and aluminium flanges for the 320mm front brake discs. And the new forged aluminium rims, which are 1.86kg lighter and reduce front and rear wheel inertia. Plus front and rear carbon fibre mudguards, a street-legal Termignoni slip-on exhaust, and a passenger seat cover.

It’s still powered by a 937cc Testatratta engine, putting out 111hp and 93Nm of torque, with the help of ABS, Ducati Traction and Wheelie control, plus Launch Control. The weight saving does continue with a lithium battery, and there’s the choice of three riding modes – sport, road and wet – managed through the 4.3″ colour TFT dashboard.
And if you’re quick enough to secure one, the new limited edition Ducati Monster 30° Anniversario isn’t that expensive either, at £16,095. That compares with the Monster at £11,295, and the Monster from £11,595. Or the Monster SP at £13,995.
With only 500 bikes being produced, you’ll need to be fast to grab one. If you’re not lucky enough, then keep up with all the latest new, custom and classic Ducati motorcycles, here. And you can find plenty of older models for sale on eBay at the moment, from 1993 to 2023.

2024 Ducati Monsters Now Available In Iceberg White
There’s a new paint choice available for the Italian naked sports bike, with the 2024 Ducati Monsters now available in Iceberg White. It’s available for both the Monster and Plus version, with a contrasting Ducati Red seat unit.
2024 Ducati SuperSport 950 S featured yesterday. The new white paint option joins the existing Aviator Grey and traditional Ducati Red choices.
Again, like the SuperSport, there’s no significant mechanical or design changes for this model year, with the last major revision in 2021, with the introduction of the 111hp 937cc Testastretta engine, an aluminium front game, and the tail end of the bike mounted to the motor, which means it dropped 18kg on the previous generation of the Monster.
The seat height remains 820mm, with the narrow width and sides meaning it’s manageable for those of us with shorter legs. But you can also get a low seat as an accessory to drop it down to 800mm, or add a low suspension kit as well, dropping the seat height down to 775mm (30.5 inches). Plus there’s a 35kW version for A2 license holders, until you can earn your way to full powered motorcycling.

As always, you get an LED headlight, and a range of electronic rider aids as standard, with ABS, traction and wheel control, adjustable via the 4.3″ TFT display on the dash. But you also get launch control, which is useful if you plan on competing in MotoGP, or really want to make sure you get away from the lights quickly during your commute to work.
Three riding modes are available, with Sport, Touring and Urban. And as usual, you get a big range of Ducai Performance options for customising your bike further, including Termignoni exhausts, crash protectors and more.

Ducati Sells Record Numbers In Q3 2021
After a challening time for the motorcycle industry, it seems like things are looking up as Ducati sells record numbers in Q3 2021.
The Italian manufacturer saw 3% growth on the third quarter of 2020, and a 25% increase on the same period in 2019, and it means that the sales of Ducati bikes in the first nine months of 2021 has already beaten the total for the whole of 2020. So far, 49,693 motorcycles have been delivered around the world, compared to 48,042 across all 12 months last year. Which is pretty impressive.

The biggest Ducati market is in Italy, with 7,954 bikes sold, followed by the U.S with 7,475 and Germany with 5,627. And the most popular bikes are the Mutistrada V4, followed by the Ducati Scrambler 800 range, the Streefighter V4 and the perennial Monster family.

Francesco Milicia, Ducati VP Global Sales and After Sales: “Ducati closed the first nine months of the year with sales volumes that are already higher than the full year 2020, both for the bikes and for after-sales products like clothing, accessories and spare parts. The growth we are experiencing is practically widespread on all the main markets in which Ducati is present and extends across the product families. We are very satisfied with the results obtained: the community of Ducatisti is growing all over the world and the most influential magazines in the motorcycling sector are awarding important prizes to Ducati bikes. This is a source of pride and satisfaction for us here in Borgo Panigale and in all Ducati subsidiaries worldwide. The brand is now more solid and appreciated than ever and we are already focusing on next year. In fact, in these weeks, we are presenting to the world the new products for the coming year, through the web series Ducati World Première 2022”.
