With the original model launched back in 2022, and a carbon version the following year, it’s about time for an update with the new flip-front LS2 Advant II helmet for 2025.
The shell still uses the same Kinetic Polymer Alloy (KPA) that LS2 use on most of their helmets, but it now gets some 6K Carbon components, which means it’s all a bit stronger but without being any heavier, coming in at around 1750g. You also get a new advanced visor-locking system to make sure everything stays in position when riding, but you can also quickly and easily remove the visor and integrated flip-down sun visor for cleaning or changing.
A secure lock is useful as the Advant II is ECE 22.06 certified and P/J dual homologated, so you can use it open or closed. And for riding in colder weather, it comes as standard with a Pinlock 120 MaxVision anti-fog insert.

New LS2 Advant X Carbon Flip-Front Helmet For 2023
Want a modular motorcycle helmet with a bit more technology and less weight? Then check out the new LS2 Advant X Carbon flip-front which has launched for 2023.
The Advant range launched in 2022 with a standard model to replace the outgoing Valiant, and expanded with the X version. But now you can not only get a 100% wide-weave carbon fibre shell, but it’s also the first flip-front helmet to also offer a full carbon chin bar.
The LS2 Advant X Carbon helmet is certified to ECE 22.06, and for use in both open and closed positions, so you get full flexibility when riding. And it’s light at 1550 grams, utilising the low weight and strengh of the carbon fibre. The chin bar is also designed to sit closer to your face, which means you get less leverage on your neck and head when you’re adjusting it. And the visor will lift automatically, which makes life easier.

New LS2 Advant Flip-Front Motorcycle Helmet
As a replacement for the outgoing Valiant, the new LS2 Advant flip-front motorcycle helmet features a new design, a slightly lighter weight, and a similar price to the previous model.
The Valiant has been around for a few years, and offered a chin bar which could be swung 180 degrees to switch between full and open face riding, or just avoid having to take your helmet off so often at petrol stations and cafes. The new LS2 Advant offers the same flexibility with the visor opening automatically when you raise the front, and it’s certified to be used legally in both positions.

The new LS2 Advant flip-front motorcycle helmet is available in sizes XS-3XL in a choice of five solid colours or four Codex and Cooper graphic options. For the plain paint, prices start from £249.99, and include a Pinlock inset, helmet bag, carrying rucksack and air bag support, while the graphics and special colour options begin at £269.99, which is about the same as the previous Valiant helmet.
