The outershell is made from 600D and 450D fabric with Ripstop reinforcement in key areas. It’s AA certified and comes with CE Level 1 shoulder and elbow protectors, but you can also first the additional LS2 CE chest and back protection for extra peace of mind.

If you’re riding in summer, then there’s large front ventilation pannels, double rear vents, and a two-way zip for the sleeves. But when it’s cold and wet, there’s a removable thermal liner, plus the fixed waterproof and breathable membrane.

New Flip-Front LS2 Advant II Helmet For 2025

With the original model launched back in 2022, and a carbon version the following year, it’s about time for an update with the new flip-front LS2 Advant II helmet for 2025.

The shell still uses the same Kinetic Polymer Alloy (KPA) that LS2 use on most of their helmets, but it now gets some 6K Carbon components, which means it’s all a bit stronger but without being any heavier, coming in at around 1750g. You also get a new advanced visor-locking system to make sure everything stays in position when riding, but you can also quickly and easily remove the visor and integrated flip-down sun visor for cleaning or changing.

A secure lock is useful as the Advant II is ECE 22.06 certified and P/J dual homologated, so you can use it open or closed. And for riding in colder weather, it comes as standard with a Pinlock 120 MaxVision anti-fog insert.

The New LS2 Dragon Carbon Motorcycle Helmet

It seems like every manufacturer is offering carbon helmets these days, and the new LS2 Dragon Carbon motorcycle helmet is one of the latest to appear on the market. The good news is that at £349.99 for the plain finish, and £379.99 for the graphic options, it’s relatively affordable.

The three outer shell sizes mean you get the smallest and lightest option across XXS to XXXL fitments, and it’s made from high grade 6k twill weave carbon fibre. So you get the high-tech look, and a high level of penetration resistance without a lot of weight. And the carbon is also used for various components including the chin, forehead and rear exhaust vents, so you don’t end up with plastic ruining the look.

New LS2 Charger Goggles With Iridium Lenses

I’m far from a competent off-road rider, despite the best efforts of friends, and instructors on various courses. But at least I might look a bit cooler using the new LS2 Charger Goggles with iridium lenses as standard.

There are seven different lens and strap combinations to choose from, ensuring you can pick the right combination to match your riding kit. And they’re also road-legal in the UK, as they’re certified to the EN 1938:2010 standard for motorcycle eyewear. Which is handy if you tend to ride your bike to local trails or a nearby MX track.

Personally, I always loved having a pair of decent summer motorcycle gloves handy, especially for commuting and ride-outs. They’re a great alternative to full-on trackday race gloves, which can be a bit cumbersome and sweaty, especially if you’re throwing on a jacket and some motorcycle jeans rather than your one-piece leathers.

The new LS2 Air Raptor Summer Gloves are available in men’s sizes S-XXL in Black only, and cost £69.99. You can check out all our previous coverage of motorcycle gloves from a wide range of brands, here, whether it’s for summer, winter or year-round riding. And you can order LS gloves from various retailers, including RevZilla in the U.S).
