RINGBROTHERS 1,000-HORSEPOWER DODGE CHARGER

TUSK, the RINGBROTHERS 1,000-HORSEPOWER DODGE CHARGER, breaks cover at 2023 SEMA Show.

RINGBROTHERS 1,000-HORSEPOWER DODGE CHARGER

Ringbrothers, the world-renowned custom car builder and parts manufacturer, has unveiled its latest custom creation, TUSK, a meticulous and thorough remastering of the iconic 1969 Dodge Charger. Engineered from the wheels-up, the RINGBROTHERS 1,000-HORSEPOWER DODGE CHARGER is an uncompromised expression of the original with extensive fabrication and carbon-fiber components combined with a modern chassis, suspension and Mopar’s most powerful crate engine: the 1,000 horsepower Hellephant.

Limited to just 100 units, the rare and coveted Hellephant serves as the soundtrack, powerplant and inspiration for the Charger’s name. The 426-cubic-inch (7.0-liter) supercharged V8 delivers 950 pound-feet of torque to the rear wheels via a Bowler TREMEC T-56 Magnum six-speed manual and a QA1 REV Series custom carbon-fiber driveshaft with a Strange Engineering Ford 9-inch rear end. The all-aluminum Hemi rests below a custom two-piece carbon-fiber hood with billet machined hood scoop grilles and is mounted 2.5 inches further back against the custom-built firewall for better weight distribution.

Tusk’s iconic front end features a one-piece exposed carbon-fiber surround with a single piece of billet machined chrome trim accentuating the “blind-eye” grille. The front valance and chin spoiler are one-off pieces designed in-house at Ringbrothers, and both the front and rear bumpers have been tucked and narrowed to further the Charger’s imposing design. Other RINGBROTHERS 1,000-HORSEPOWER DODGE CHARGER custom touches include the removal of the windshield cowl vents, reshaped and extended rear quarter end caps, new door skins, extended and lowered rocker panels, one-off belly pan, lower rear valance, and custom driveline tunnel and floors.

“The Charger’s ‘coke-bottle’ body is the perfect canvas to push the limits of what we can do and showcase our in-house talent and capabilities,” said Ringbrothers co-owner Jim Ring. “TUSK took over 5,000 hours to complete and is a radical rethink of the classic Charger, marrying the aesthetics of a 20th-century icon with the rigorous build quality and signature touches Ringbrothers has become renowned for.”

RINGBROTHERS 1,000-HORSEPOWER DODGE CHARGERBASF Glasurit’s “Black to the Future” accentuates the Charger’s tapered fenders and muscular proportions while the contrasting gold elements give notice of a rightly menacing look. That intimidating aesthetic is not purely visual, as the front wheels have been brought forward two inches to extend the wheelbase and enhance handling. A custom Roadster Shop FAST TRACK chassis brings dynamic performance to the foreground. The RINGBROTHERS 1,000-HORSEPOWER DODGE CHARGER features Fox RS SV coil-overs at all four corners with ample stopping power thanks to Baer Brakes Extreme 6S six-piston calipers. To aid in dissipating brake heat, the front fenders feature machined billet side vents, and the Charger rides on Ringbrothers TUSK Edition HRE Wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires.

The same meticulous approach extends to the interior with modern comforts and conveniences, including a custom leather interior with a carbon-fiber console and, in true Mopar fashion, a custom carbon-fiber “pistol grip” shifter. The bespoke interior was tailored by Upholstery Unlimited and is appointed with a Gentex rearview mirror, Dakota Digital gauges and a Vintage Air Gen IV climate-control system.

“Performance and design shaped this build. It really shows what can be accomplished when cutting-edge techniques work in tandem with painstaking levels of detail and imagination,” added Ringbrothers co-owner Mike Ring. “The second-gen Charger is one of those cars that’s so iconic as the zenith of American musclecar styling and performance, and that’s what we set out to replicate with this build. Of course, we must thank our partners HRE Wheels, BASF, Miller Welding and others for supporting us every step of the way.”

Ringbrothers offers a host of products for the Charger, including hood and trunk hinge kits, steering wheels, universal parts and more. For more information, please visit  https://www.ringbrothers.com/

RINGBROTHERS’ ’69 MUSTANG MACH 1

The PATRIARC is the latest modern Musclecar from custom car builder and parts manufacturer, Ringbrothers. Its new build pushes the limits of performance and aesthetics of one of America’s most iconic Musclecars, Ford’s 69 Ford Mustang Mach 1. A result of over 5,000 meticulous and laborious build hours, it combines a modern drivetrain, suspension and chassis with the superior build quality and custom work Ringbrothers is known for.

A complete reimagining of the original Ford Mustang Mach 1, RINGBROTHERS’ ’69 MUSTANG MACH 1 has performance levels well beyond those thought possible in 1969. At the heart of PATRIARC is a Ford Performance Aluminator 5.2 XS engine producing 580 horsepower and 445 pound-feet of torque. Power is transferred to a Strange Engineering 9-inch rear end via a Bowler Tremec T-56 Magnum six-speed manual equipped with a Centerforce clutch. Gargantuan levels of grip come from sticky and wide Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires wrapped around HRE Wheels G-Code Edition wheels. Penske Racing Shocks RS Edition coil-overs and independent front and rear Roadster Shop FAST TRACK suspension keep the Mustang Mach 1 glued to the ground. Stopping power is by Baer Brakes 14-inch rotors and six-piston calipers.

RINGBROTHERS’ RADICAL ’69 CAMARO SS

Thousands of hours of meticulous labor and cutting-edge manufacturing details resulted in this 1,010-horspower, carbon-fiber-bodied RINGBROTHERS’ RADICAL ’69 CAMARO SS!

RINGBROTHERS’ RADICAL ’69 CAMARO SS

Ringbrothers, the world-renowned custom car builder and parts manufacturer, has unveiled its latest custom creation, STRODE at SEMA 2022. A thorough reengineering of iconic American muscle, this ‘69 Chevy Camaro is a complete, ground-up build utilizing extensive carbon-fiber construction and components merged with a modern drivetrain, chassis and suspension. With only two parts of the original Camaro used, RINGBROTHERS’ RADICAL ’69 CAMARO SS took over 6,500 hours to complete and is a testament to its high-end design, engineering capabilities and rigorous build quality.

Much of that labor involved meticulously constructing a bespoke carbon-fiber body. Not just a reproduction of the Camaro’s original body, Ringbrothers widened the new carbon-fiber version by five inches. The rocker panels are lowered, the center of the roof recessed and a new lengthened and reshaped hood helps push air into relocated intake vents. Further carbon-fiber touches include custom fender scoops, tucked front and rear bumpers, diffusers, valances and a spoiler all covered in BASF Glasurit Ghost White paint. Modern comforts and conveniences come from a fully custom interior by Upholstery Unlimited appointed with a JL Audio sound system, Dakota Digital gauges and a Vintage Air Gen IV climate control system. A hand-fabricated roll cage protects the occupants while a rear seat delete sheds additional weight.

RINGBROTHERS’ RADICAL ’69 CAMARO SS“We wanted to push the limits of what we can do and showcase our capabilities with STRODE,” said Ringbrothers co-owner Mike Ring. “It is a radical rethink of the original Chevy Camaro, expanding its dimensions and levels of performance. With its one-off carbon-fiber body and thousands of hours of custom work, there has never been another Camaro like it. Of course, we must thank our partners Motul, HRE Wheels, BASF, Miller Welding, Flowmaster and others for helping to make STRODE something even Michael Myers can’t catch.”

“The build process of STRODE shows what can be accomplished using cutting-edge techniques, painstaking levels of detail and imagination,” added Ringbrothers co-owner Jim Ring. “We digitally modeled the original Camaro body and rendered a more aggressive version of it in carbon fiber. Custom 3D-printed and billet-machined parts were also manufactured and paired with advanced components to make STRODE extremely capable and comfortable.”

Backing up the newfound aggression of RINGBROTHERS’ RADICAL ’69 CAMARO SS is a modern drivetrain, chassis and suspension. A Wegner Motorsports LS3 topped with a Whipple supercharger provides a healthy 1,010 horsepower with a Holley Dominator EFI system mixing fuel and air. Spent gases exhale through hand-built headers and Flowmaster mufflers. Helping to put the power to the ground is a reworked Bowler Tremec T-56 Mangum six-speed manual transmission and a John’s Industries 9-inch rear end. A Detroit Speed Engineering hydroformed subframe attaches to Roadster Shop FAST TRACK independent front and rear suspension damped with QA1 MOD Series coil-overs. The front wheels are moved forward three inches for improved stance and handling. HRE Wheels Ringbrothers G-Code Edition wheels wrapped with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires provide grip, while Baer Brakes bring RINGBROTHERS’ RADICAL ’69 CAMARO SS to a rapid stop.
